Our Company

Sociedad Anónima de Azúcares Especiales - SAES, was founded in the early 80's. Our company was the first to launch an envelope with two separate parts: one for the sugar and the other for the coffee spoon. Nowadays we have a wider product range with a variety of sugar packages solutions. Since 10 November 1999, we hold ISO 9002 Certification. We are the first ISO 9002 certified company of our sector.
We manufacture our products following quality assured processes by M.A.R.C.P.C. and under spanish sanitary regulations 23.0431/CAT and 23.02580/B.
We have the most up-to-date facilities (2500 m2) and high-tech machinery with automated packaging of our products, to assure quality manufacturing under the best hygienic conditions.

In 2009, our corporation became a part of the transnational group PORTION PACK EUROPE, member of SÜDZUCKER, a leading firms food group. Südzücker's annual turnover was EUR 5.8 billion Euros and this group has more than 20,000 employees all over the world. The aim of this membership is on one hand the promotion of all group firms' packaging sales in Spain and on the other hand the introduction of our products in the rest of Europe.
